Biddle Point Update Project

Construction of upgrades and improvements to the Biddle Point sewer lift station were financed by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

The CWSRF program is administered by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (formerly DEQ) with joint funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Michigan. This project will replace all pumps, motors, controls, ventilation, safety and power generation equipment and will provide sewer pumping reliability for community residents and businesses on Mackinac Island.

CWSRF programs operate around the country to provide states and communities the resources necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure that protects our valuable water resources nationwide.
